DIY Moisturizing Exfoliant Facial Mask

DIY moisturizing exfoliating facial mask, avocado, honet, olive oil lemon

If you’re looking to give your skin a little boost and make the most out of your daily skincare routine, why not try using a facial mask once or twice a week? Masks can work wonders by exfoliating dead skin cells, drawing out impurities, unclogging pores, and providing extra moisture. Plus, they help your daily products work even better! The best part is that you can easily create a customized mask using everyday items from your kitchen.

Here’s a super easy DIY moisturizing exfoliant facial mask that will leave your skin feeling soft and supple:

Ingredients:

  • ¼ of an avocado (mashed with a fork) – super moisturizing
  • 1 slice of lemon (squeezed juice) – exfoliates and moisturizes
  • ½ tablespoon of olive oil – cleanses and nourishes the skin
  • 1 tablespoon of honey – kills germs and is anti-inflammatory

Directions

  1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl using a fork or spoon. So simple!
  2. Before applying the mask, take a warm wet towel and hold it over your washed face for 2-3 minutes. This helps open up your pores.
  3. Use your fingers or a synthetic foundation brush to apply the mask. Just a heads up, it might drip a bit, so wear a washable shirt.
  4. Relax for 10-15 minutes while the mask does its magic. Take this time to unwind!
  5. Wash off the mask thoroughly with warm water.
  6. Finish off by applying your favorite moisturizer. Your skin will thank you!

Give it a go and notice how supple and soft your skin feels afterward. Enjoy the pampering session!
