Raw “Tim Bits”

Ingredients 

6 large medjool dates 

1 cup shredded coconut 

1 tablespoon pure maple syrup 

1 pinch of sea salt

Icing Ingredients 

3 tablespoons melted coconut oil

1 tablespoon pure maple syrup 

Cinnamon Variation: Add to the icing ingredient

1 tsp cinnamon 

1 tablespoon coconut sugar 

Instructions

Soak dates in enough warm water to cover them completely, and let them sit about 30 minutes, or until softened. 

Drain water

Place soaked dates, shredded coconut, sea salt and maple syrup in a food processor and process until smooth.

Roll into balls and refrigerate till they are cold.

Place melted coconut oil and maple syrup in a little bowl.

For the cinnamon variation: Place cinnamon and coconut sugar in a separate little bowl.

Once the balls are completely cooled, roll them first in the oil and maple bowl and then in the cinnamon sugar bowl if using. Return them to the fridge to cool again completely. 

Repeat the step above to add an extra coating, and cool again. You can do this a few times if you want a thicker icing.

Once they are cooled, you can finally eat them lol 😋
